  1. Hi Aravind, Can you please share the error details and your use case details? with NSXt there is no exclusive integration, so there is no specific documentation. As you know that VPX is supported on ESXi environment and ideally it should suffice unless until a specific integration/automation is required.
  2. Hi Jens, Its applicable only for NetScaler Console service (prior name ADM service)
  3. Hi Sarovani, Please check if this helps?https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX126853/how-to-determine-the-ip-addresses-of-active-connections-to-a-virtual-server-of-a-netscaler
  4. Hi Steven, Reboot will not invalidate perpetual MPX license.Perpetual licenses, dont have any dependency on the network connection. Can we know when you purchased these licenses? Few years back release restricted perpetual licenses were sold and only for those licenses there could be impact based on the version they are on.

  8. Hi Steven, 16k series is an active model and it basically supports all available NetScaler licensing options. We may need more information on your region/org name/orgid to redirect you to the right NetScaler sales/partner who can guide you on this. Please feel free to mail me at arvind.kandula@cloud.com and i can redirect you to the right person.

FYI, labs are available for a quick trial of NetScaler's capabilities on the browser itself.(pre-defined use cases)https://community.netscaler.com/s/netscaler-labsif you still need more information please let us know with the feature details and capacity details that you are looking for.

  13. Hi Jeff, you may want to post this question at https://discussions.citrix.com/forum/1704-citrix-cloud/

  15. The behavior and performance is same for an application hosted on admin and default partition. You just have to segregate your traffic with vlans. Other than gateway and appsec, everything else is supported inside a partition. Best way to create multiple virtual instances inside a single netscaler
  16. Has anyone here had experience running load balancing in both the Default and Admin Partition on a Citrix ADC NetScaler instance? What were your experiences, challenges, and recommendations?
  17. Best practice deployment and monitoring: To avoid SPOF (single point of failure), it is recommended to have a pair of agents per site and enable “Agent failover” (It is disabled by default).Ensure to map the 'Site Name' for each Agent. This will help ADM identify the agent accurately in the event of agent failover.Stagger ADM agent upgrades. Agents can be scheduled up to 24hrs apart. This can be scheduled in ADM under Infrastructure > Agents > SettingsFrom there you can specify upgrade times for all agents including local time zoneConfigure alerts for CPU, Memory, Disk & Agent UnreachableFrom the same location you can configure notification settings for all of the above. E-mail, Slack, ServiceNow are all options. Configure ADM to send out system level notification for Agent Upgrade & Agent DownSetting > System Events > Notification Traps: AgentMonitoring & AgentDiagOptional: ADM can be configured for SNMP GET: https://docs.netscaler.com/en-us/citrix-application-delivery-management-software/current-release/manage-system-settings/create-snmp-manager-users.html Some other points to note: Always use the ADM UI to change password for ADM Agent Resource requirement For ADM on-prem agent & ADM Service agent (recommended for better performance)RAM: 32 GB, Virtual CPU:8 vCPU, Storage space: 30 GBAcceptable latency between agent and ADC - 300msFor LSA agent - in case the LSA agent itself goes down, all the NetScaler instances connected to ADM Service for pooled licensing go into grace for one day. By the next day, ADM Service elects a new agent as LSA. Behavior is by default and does not impact functionality.
  18. Yes, its possible. you can allocate pooled Bandwidth/instance licenses to multiple hostids of multiple ADM instances at mycitrix.com
