  1. 5 Stars!!! Thank you for this clear explanation Daniel, very well written and the videos and graphics were very helpful. My only suggestion is to update the name of Azure AD.
  2. I had this issue yesterday and I was able to get in fine using an Incognito/InPrivate tab.
  3. Very helpful document! Thank you! Looks like many hours spent. I have 2 or 3 suggestions. I think maybe the title should be changed. The article is all about hibernation but hibernation is not mentioned. Also the title mentions that this is for Powershell but the instructions have both Powershell and GUI versions throughout. Maybe "Using hibernation with Azure VMs in Citrix DaaS" or something? A second thing is that many of the images are hard to read, too small when seeing them in the web page and then not enough quality to read them if I enlarge. The screen by screen for the Create Machine Catalog Wizard is the main one that I had a bad time with. Lastly, perhaps this is a wider site issue but the navigation columns on the right and left of the web page are so prominent that the content is only in the center third of my screen.
  4. Well, it turns out after going over my policies once again I found that I did have 'Client microphone redirection' disabled. That's embarrassing. It was good that I went back through it again. I guess the Teams optimization is so good that it ignores that policy because Teams saw all my microphones while the OS did not. Thank you very much for your time looking at that Fernando. Now that the policy is set to enabled things are working as expected.
  5. VDA is 1912 LTSR Citrix Workspace version 2107 Win 10 VDI delivered through Citrix cloud Teams works with Microphone. Inside teams the microphone is detected with its full name (in fact all three microphones). When I open Device Manager there is no Mic detected and other apps (Cisco Jabber and Cisco IP Communicator) do not see a microphone. Can anyone teach me about what might be going on here? Is this being caused by Teams optimization? Rob Peck
  6. We are using Citrix cloud and have PVS on premises. I had to delete and replace one of the servers in a PVS MC/DG I removed the old one from the Delivery Group and from the Machine Catalog and from the PVS Device Collection I deleted the VM and rebuilt it using same host name. I created a new PVS device with the new MAC Address and reset the AD object I went into the PVS Devices Export Wizard and authenticated to the Cloud Connector and then chose the PVS Device Collection. I then get a message "No Devices Found to Export..." What do I need to do to add this server to the existing machine catalog? What is the wizard looking for? Why won't it see that one of the devices in the device collection is not in the catalog?
  7. For a couple years we have seen this problem. Often associated with the ICA client being updated. Sometimes seemingly out of nowhere. Symptom is that when attempting to launch a Citrix app the Windows Installer kicks off and tries to find ICAWebWrapper.msi and gives an error that it can’t find it. We have always used Web access and not native mode. When this error happens the helpdesk has always just uninstalled and re-installed the client and then it works. We are now using Workspace App 1911. Today we had many instances of this error. These are users that recently changed windows domains (but that did not break workspace) and then today they transitioned from launching some of their applications from the on prem storefront to launching them from Citrix Cloud. There were a certain number of them that started getting that error when launching apps from the cloud but they could still launch apps from storefront with no issue. What I mostly want to know is what causes this problem. Does anyone have a technical explanation for it?
  8. My co-worker found the issue and it is working now. Problem was 2 files with the same name. He says that the Citrix' cmstart.exe was not being called so that it could load wfshell. The Informatica Client was recently installed on that server and it changed the Path variable so that the Informatica bin folder came early in the path and there is an alternate cmstart.exe at that location.
  9. I published a shared desktop in my XenApp 7.15 LTSR CU4 environment and users cannot copy and paste text into or out of it. If I RDP directly to the server the clipboard works fine but in an ICA session, nothing. Another shared desktop in the same environment, same OU, same policies, same OS (Server 2016) but different delivery group works fine. I can also copy/paste fine into and out or my published applications in the same environment. Am I missing something simple? Looking for troubleshooting ideas.
  10. Thanks Alan, this was not obvious to me by the category. Home Support Forums DIGITAL WORKSPACE Virtual Desktops XenDesktop 7.x
  11. I have some windows 7 desktops that are used to connect into customer networks to do maintenance on their equipment. I am moving them from being hosted on XenDesktop 7.5 to XenDesktop 7.15 LTSR cu4. I uninstalled the 7.5 VDA and installed the 7.15 VDA and added them to a Machine Catalog and Delivery group and everything seems just the same EXCEPT there is one VPN that the users connect to using Cisco AnyConnect. As soon as they make a successful connection to this VPN the Citrix session is immediately disconnected. The old ones work just fine. The new ones are in the same OU with the same GPOs being applied, there are a few Citrix policies that I found are being applied to all objects in the new site so I exempted this Delivery group (there were no Citrix policies applied in the 7.5 environment). This did not effect any change. The VMs are also still in the same subnet using the same DHCP scope. Any ideas on what I can configure to make this work? Is this because of a difference in the VDAs? Is there some strange split tunneling thing that suddenly comes into play when moving to 7.15? Thanks for any help you can point me to.
