Launching Published Apps multiple times

I have an interesting issue in a 1912LTSR site.

 

The published app is not restricted. Meaning that it is configured in Studio to "Allow unlimited use" and the box "Limit to one instance per user" is unchecked.

 

I have two StoreFront servers. They are both configured identically.

 

The issue: when a user launches the published app while connected through StoreFront A, the user is able to successfully launch the app multiple times. However, when they are connected via StoreFront B, the user is only able to launch the application once!

 

The only error message that I see in StoreFront is Event ID 28:

Failed to launch the resource 'ApplicationName' using the Citrix XML Service at address 'http://XYZ.company.com/scripts/wpnbr.dll'. The XML service returned error: 'active-session-limit-reached'.

 

This does not make any sense because the app multi-session behavior is configured on the broker and not the StoreFront side.

Sounds like one of the storefront servers is limited to launch just a single copy.  That is under the store settings I believe.

Interesting.  Are your StoreFront servers members of the same StoreFront server group?

So when users access app and disconnect, when they try to reconnect they get this error? Or user try to open app while session is active? Are those SF's in server group and propagated?
