I have been working with Prometheus and noticed that the metrics log file name is different between 13.1.49.15 and 13.1.50.23.

Hi @Danny Gullick , the naming convention for the Prometheus log file is metrics_prom_<name_of_timeseries_profile>.log. Please check if the time series profile name was modified across builds.
What can I do if the prmoetheus metric file metrics_prom_myanaltics.log does not update?

Hi @Jens Schneider Few things to check 1> Metrics should be enabled with serve mode set to PULL and format set to Prometheus. 2> Ensure a minimum of 1 MB of space on /var/ or /var/nslog partition. 3> If the metrics file is not updating with the above settings, please check for errors in /var/nslog/metricscollector.log file.

Hi All, please restart metricscollector to overcome this issue <pkill -9 metricscollector>. The fix should be part of the 13.1 49.4 release. Also, this issue happens only if metrics is enabled in AVRO format on any analytics profile. If ADM analytics is not used, please disable metrics on the associated analytics profile. cc @Jeff Riechers @Komal Bhardwaj @Peter Götze
