Keith Littlejohn1709163886
We currently have an internal GSLB configured for our SF VIP. I'm adding a new SF VIP and will add that to a different GSLB domain. For example, the current SF VIP GSLB domain is igslb.prod.com. The new SF VIP GSLB domain is iqgslb.host.com. Is it possible to add the new iqgslb.host.com domain to the existing site that hosts igslb.prod.com or should I create a new GSLB site? I also created a new GSLB vserver with the iqgslb.host.com domain bound to it. Thanks in advance!
Jeff Riechers
Your CNAME can be in the new domain and point to your existing igslb site. Ping microsoft.com and you will see it goes to akami. Same idea.
Keith Littlejohn1709163886
Thanks for the reply. So if the CNAME in the new domain does not point to the existing igslb site, I should create a new site for the new domain?
Jeff Riechers
No, I usually will just have 1 child domain for gslb. Then I can have an unlimited number of other domains point to that child domain for the gslb services.
