Teams optimization audio quality from Linux endpoints

Mike_B

Question

I have asked this question before on the Teams Optimization board, but that's pretty quiet so thought i'd ask it here too.

We have a bunch of thin clients, running Wyse ThinOS and Workspace for Linux, and running Teams with Optimization working.   We have an issue in that when in a Teams meeting, if you share you screen then the audio quality becomes very choppy and broken.

I have booted the terminal using Ubuntu Linux with Workspace 2012, and get the same issue - and also get the same using iGel bootable USB, and a different terminal (a 10Zig) altogether.   If I use my PC running Win10 as the endpoint, Optimization works pretty much OK.  The problem really seems to only come about when using the Workspace for Linux software, it just doesn't do optimization properly when doing screensharing

Anyone else seen this and have any tips?
