Martin Poirier
Pretty much as the title says. We have Domain Admin's in the Local Admin group in the Platform Layer, however, that doesn't carry over to a composed image. Is there a trick to getting that captured? App Layering 19.10, vsphere 6.5, Win10 1903. Link to comment
0 Rob Zylowski
Yes Create a GPP and add domain admins to administrators and domain users to users also if you want to allow Direct Access Users add domain users to that as well. https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX225997 Rob Link to comment
0 Martin Poirier
Thanks Rob. I don't recall through having to do this in Unidesk 2.x. Did something change within how the Platform Layer captures certain config ? Link to comment
0 Rob Zylowski
In Unidesk 2.x you used the unattend builder to create an unattend.xml. The unattend included the information to join the domain then when a machine was built it was joined to the domain so the groups would all be created normally. Even though i wrote that utility i had to actually go back and find notes on the process because i had totally forgotten how it worked. Man am i getting old :) Link to comment
