How to capture domain admins as local administrators?

Pretty much as the title says.  We have Domain Admin's in the Local Admin group in the Platform Layer, however, that doesn't carry over to a composed image.  Is there a trick to getting that captured?

Yes Create a GPP and add domain admins to administrators and domain users to users also if you want to allow Direct Access Users add domain users to that as well.

I don't recall through having to do this in Unidesk 2.x.  Did something change within how the Platform Layer captures certain config ?

In Unidesk 2.x you used the unattend builder to create an unattend.xml.  The unattend included the information to join the domain then when a machine was built it was joined to the domain so the groups would all be created normally.

 

Even though i wrote that utility i had to actually go back and find notes on the process because i had totally forgotten how it worked.

 

Man am i getting old :)
