  1. Do I have to update the VDA on every single Windows 10 device before I can upgrade the delivery controllers?  I know I had to for my multi-session site, but that site is using MCS images so there weren't very many servers to upgrade.  These are dedicated Windows 10 virtual machines that have remote access allowed to them, so the VDA was installed.  If all of them need upgraded to the newest CU update is there something automated to do this?

    Hi,

When you moint the ISO and go to D:\x64\DesktopStudio there is a installer for studio, try that one.

That did allow me to upgrade Citrix Studio, so thanks for that.  But, I still have something named Citrix 7.15 LTSR - XenApp in the Add/Remove Programs on the server.  I thought that was for the Studio that was already installed. Any idea what that might be for?  Its not the VDA.  This Citrix terminology is killing me lol.

  3. This is on a multi session server that provides Citrix desktops used by some support teams.  I ran autoselect.exe and the option to choose Studio is grayed out and says "included in upgrade".  The VDA has been upgraded but the older version of Studio remains.  Now when I launch Studio on that server and connect to the delivery controller I'm given a warning that my Studio version is older than my site version.  Site was recently upgraded.  VDA on server is 7 1912 LTSR CU2.  Studio on server is 7.15 LTSR - XenApp.  Those are the two I see in the list of programs on the server.  I have also rebooted the server from Studio (running on another server).

  4. This environment wasn't setup by me so I'm not too familiar with certain things.  When I log into Director, every single Citrix site has tons of alerts from hosts going offline or memory usage being high.  The problem is, the majority of these hosts are not related to the Citrix environment.  These hosts are all in VMware vCenter though.  How can I have these alerts come from the hosts in the Citrix clusters only?  In Studio, under configuration, hosting, I see the connection to vCenter.  Just not sure what to do from here.

  5. So when you put in your credentials in the Citrix Receiver (not the browser), you have the option to check the box "Remember my password".  I attached a pic of that screen.  Any idea what would cause it to keep losing those creds after logging out of their PC?  Meaning, the user logs out of their PC, then back in, then is prompted for those creds again when launching their storefront application (shortcut on their desktop in this case).  This is not consistent across the environment.  Not everyone is experiencing this.  I know for a fact the box is being checked because someone sent me a video of them launching the app, putting in the creds and checking the box and then logging off their PC and back in....and having to put in their creds again.
