  1. We have 650 clients, all with Citrix Workspace. In the past we used Citrix receiver and after i upgraded the whole environment to 1912 LTSR and replaced Citrix receiver with that same version, without any problems.

    Environment:

    2x Storefront

    2x Delivery Controller

    2x F5 Load Balancer

    Now i'm at the point to upgrade Citrix receiver to version 2203 LTSR. The problem is that when i upgrade the Workspace on for example 10 cliënts, there is one client that has problems connecting to the store. Error message: Cannot connect to the server, check your network connection and try again.

    When i right-click the taskbar icon and choose to logon, it shows the error message "Cannot connect with the account <store description> due to an error with the server certificate".

    When i try to load the config file i exported from the Storefront on the client it shows the error "Cannot process configuration files. Cannot validate SSL-certificate".

    What certificate is this message refering to? I checked all the server certificates and they are correct and valid.

    Sometimes i can fix it to role back to Workspace version 1912 LTSR, but sometimes that gives me the same problems.

  2. Hi,

    We have a local Citrix environment with Citrix Workspace setup on the clients and some pubapp servers.

    Later this year we are going to perform a domain migration. A Citrix environment will be setup in the new domain.

    I am wandering if it is possible to publish apps / add two stores from two different domains in a single Citrix workspace. So one store is in domain1 and the other is in domain2. At some point users will have two account, one in both domains.

    Applications will be migrated one by one, so for example application X will be in domain1 on Friday and on Monday it's migrated to domain2. The idea is that users won't notice any difference when starting apps from their Workspace.

    Is this technically possible somehow?

  3. Hi,

    In our company we have Citrix VAD 1912 LTSR CU5 running. Users can access virtual desktops and published apps.

    Citrix Workspace is running on all laptops.

    For a few weeks now everyone has a smard card in their laptop and use it to login on the laptops with a pincode.

    I was wandering what has to be configured to enable smard card login for our Citrix environment / Citrix Workspace. Does anyone has experience with that? Is there maybe a step-by-step guide available?

    I see some smard card options when i use the "Citrix Workspace app Commandline Tool". Also when i look in Storefront under stores, i see the option to enable the smart card login authentication method. Is it that simple to just enable this?

  4. Hi,

    I've lost the VM i used as a golden image for my VDI's. So i picked one of the deployed VDI's out of the catalog. My idea is to configure that one as my new golden image.

    In the VDI poule it was configured to discard any change, so even now when it's out of the catalog, after every reboot all of my changes made to the machine are gone.

    Is there a way to somehow delete that, so that it will behave as a normal Windows 10 VM?

  5. Hi,

    I have the same issue as described in discussion;

    https://discussions.citrix.com/topic/406692-windows-installer-tries-to-kick-off-icawebwrappermsi-when-trying-to-launch-an-app/

    I can fix the issue for my own  account (admin privileges), but when somebody else logges in on that same machine, the message pops up again. I've tried the following commands to fix it for all users;

    msiexec /i \\<path to msi>\riinstaller.msi REBOOT=ReallySuppress MSIDISABLERMRESTART=0 MSIRESTARTMANAGERCONTROL=0 NEED_RECEIVER=n TROLLEYINSTALL=1 ALLUSERS=1

    msiexec /i \\<path to msi>\icawebwrapper.msi REBOOT=ReallySuppress MSIDISABLERMRESTART=0 MSIRESTARTMANAGERCONTROL=0 NEED_RECEIVER=n TROLLEYINSTALL=1 ALLUSERS=1

    I need it to work on my golden image so i can deploy it on my VDI pool. Does anybody have a solution for this?

  6. Hi,

    I'm managing a Citrix 1912LTSR environment with VDI's running on ESXi 6.5. I want to move the VDI's to a VMware 7.0 environment, but provisioning on this VMware ESXi version is only supported from Citrix version 2009.

    Can i upgrade directly from 1912LTSR to 2009?

    I have some old Win2k8 published app servers running VDA version 7.15. Will they still work when i upgrade the rest of the servers to version 2009?
