Explain HDX Proxy to cyber security team

We have a Citrix Virtual App environment that is connected to via VPN. When this was built years ago, I did a poor job of educating the cyber security architects on HDX proxy.

The environment is being refreshed next year and I am looking to replace the VPN with HDX Proxy.

Are there good materials out there that can assist with educating cyber teams with why HDX Proxy?
