I had an interesting situation pop up that caused me some consternation, fortunately Citrix support was able to help me out.
The last golden image I created on VMWare 6.5 (I believe) and the default choice for new VMs is the legacy BIOS. I created a new image recently after we moved to 7.0 and didn't realize the default is EFI. It also happens that Machine Catalogs remember the BIOS choice from the initial image when creating the catalog. I don't know if that is something that can be modified through powershell or not, but the solution was to merely create a new MC and use the new EFI image as the base image.
