with the VMware/Broadcom saga story, we were asked to look into alternatives to Horizon and as we are already a Citrix shop for Apps only and fore remote users, we decided to migrate from Horizon to Citrix VDI.
on Horizon, users are using their dedicated desktops to access the VDI machines, as far as I understand, once they logon to their local windows OS on their desktops, the horizon VDI kicks in and lunch their published VDI machine which I would like to replicate on Citrix.
now my question, is these such a feature I can explore and use on Citrix?
I already have a template published to my self for testing purposes and this works fine.
