Hi Team,

 

Is side by side application and desktop launch is possible on Citrix Single session Server VDI?

Meaning User1 launched the Citrix Desktop and his session is active on "Server VDI A", now when the user parallelly try to launch an app (word) should go to his same "Server VDI A" instead of going to another server "Server VDI B". (Ref is like AWS AppStream, where they will let you to launch desktop and app from the same instance 1:1, new users goes to different instance)

Are you talking about launching word within the desktop session as a published app, or launching two completely unique sessions?

 

Ideally you launch word from within the desktop session, and use vPrefer configurations to keep it local
