Drop outs of Teams calls for Thin Client (NoTouchOS )

PNCS Admins

Question

We have been experiencing drop outs of Teams calls for our Thin Client (NoTouchOS ) users for weeks. Teams calls only. No PSTN.

Has anyone experienced similar or have any ideas?

The drop happens when video/Audio and Desktop sharing are turned on. Randomly NoTouchOS users drop off the call. Other callers on laptops in the group call are not affected. Not all NoTouchOS callers drop when it happens.

Teams for the affected users record a MediaConnectivityFailure message in the Teams logs, suggesting it's something to do with the Media Engine.

NoTouchOS device and Laptops can be on same vlan/switch so no firewalls or anything between media engines, still happens.

VDA version: 2203.0.3000.3300

VDI is published desktop.
Classic Teams version 1.7.00.156

MSI install with ALLUSER = 1
Citrix Workspace app for Linux: 23.3.0.32
HDX Optimization is active. The Teams About shows this in the version banner.

NoTochOS version
3.5.1-EEs-k515-x64-230809

Microsoft and Citrix support are just going around in circles.
