December Patch causing 1+ hour boot time for servers - ELM Version 23.4.0.1007

Has anyone had any issues with extremely slow boot ups with December 2023 patch. KB5033373 is the update.

 

We have not been able to update our OS layer because of this issue.

Yes, we had a similar issue with our Windows 10 November and January OS Layer patches as well. The issue was present with ELM version 22.11.0.1004. We have since updated to 23.12.0.1001 and the issue is still present.

 

For testing, I did notice that the issue was not present if I excluded our FsLogix App Layer from our image, which is not doable for our production image, but the issue seems to be linked, at least in our case to something between the November to January Windows 10 OS updates and FsLogix…
