OOBE (out of box experience) MCS Machine Catalog

Hi Carl,

 

Our endpoint manager is asking me to create a Windows 11 master image to deploy VDIs in DAAS, he want us to use the option OOBE. I tried it but it fails for assigned users to launch it because an active session is present in VDI.

The OOBE (out of box experience) is currently showing in VDI console waiting for end user to responde the PC custom settings.

Is it possible to use this setup (OOBE) to create MCS machine catalogs?

You can't do OOBE on an MCS machine.  It needs to have this base configuration in place before the Citrix services can execute and the user logs into the domain.
