I would love to use WLB to automatically apply recommendations but there are certain limitations preventing me from enabling this. The biggest limitation is that my PVS VMs can't be XenMotioned without causing chaos to the devices streaming their disk from them. Smaller limitations would be that I would not want both of my DDC VMs to be moved at the same time.
At this point, I am planning on a 2-pool setup where one pool contains my Citrix infrastructure VMs and does not utilize WLB, and the 2nd pool only contains single-session desktops and multi-session servers with WLB enabled.
My request is for an ability to exclude a VM from participating in WLB optimizations. I would expect to see this as an option in a VM's Properties.
