Citrix Workspace Auto-update : Unable to get "Chek for Update" option

Hello,

 

I'm trying to change the Workspace 2203 CU2 configuration so users can update themself their Workspace.

The GPO was first configured with "Disable update" option.

The Workspace is deployed with that parameters

 

/silent /includeSSON /ENABLE_SSON=Yes /EnableCEIP=false /AutoUpdateCheck=disabled /noreboot

 

 

I have enforced a new GPO to enable Update of the  Workspace but there is no option for the user to check for update.

A gpresult shows that the new GPO is applied on compuiters.

I found no new registry keys with the new parameters under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Citrix\ICA Client\AutoUpdate

There is some command lines parameters under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Citrix\ICA Client\AutoUpdate\Commandline Policy

Banned True

Enable False

 

I tried to delete both values but it does not change the issue.

 

The new GPO is confured like this :

 

Citrix Workspace Updates Enabled  
Enable Citrix Workspace Update Policy Manual 
LTSR ONLY Enabled 
Citrix-Workspace-Update-DeferUpdate-Count -1 
 
Policy Setting Comment 
Set the Delay in Checking for Update Enabled  
Delay Group Fast

Does your machine have the service named Citrix Workspace Update Service?

 

Run procmon while launching Workspace app to see what registry keys it is checking.

Yes, serice is running.

Thousand of registries records, nothing seen about update.

Hello, I still have no solution to make it working.

Tried from 2203 CU3 and now it works.

Maybe a bug with CU2 ?
