Mike Molyneux1709151470
Hi. I'm trying to work out if there's a way to block an enrolled user from using Xenmobile on their iOS device if the version of iOS is below a certain version? Then once they update the iOS and try to use Xenmobile again then it all works as normal. thanks Mike Link to comment
0 Jyotheesh Asanapuram
Hi Mike, As far as I know we do not have a way to block the device temporarily. We can either send email or selective wipe the device. If end user receives email they will upgrade. If we selective wipe the device - they have to re-enroll. 0 DNittel
Hello Mike, I have employed the "app wipe" feature to complete this action for our managed devices App not in compliance with minimum required iOS version. Once the device is brought back into compliance w/ necessary version, i perform an "app unwipe". Please note that this will require a re-enrollment into Secure Hub, though no factory reset would be necessary. Prior to completing, the devices were sent msgs via both Secure Hub and subsequent email to inform of the minimum software version requirement. Ref: Security actions | XenMobile Server Current Release (citrix.com) App wipe: Removes the user account from Secure Hub and unenrolls the device. Users can’t reenroll until you perform the App unwipe action. Link to comment
