VDA2203 CU1 Upgrade for 32bit Systems(Win10)

Hi All,

 

We are in the process of migrating Citrix systems from 7.16 to 2203 CU1. It looks like the 2203 VDA setup files doesn't support 32bit operating systems. How do we upgrade the VDAs on Win10 32bit Operating systems? Do we have any alternatives here? Please suggest.

You will have to stay on that older version, or upgrade to 64 bit.

or upgrade to the latest version that supports 32bit.

If you want to stay on LTSR, that would be 1912 CU7

1912 LTSR-CU7 doesn't support 32bit VDAs, only 64bit. Thanks for your quick response.

We have some legacy applications that needs to run on 32bit OS, which limits my option for OS 64 bit upgrade. Thanks for your quick response.

Damn, you're right.

 

I had a quick look on in the ISO of 1912 CU7 and there was lots of stuff in the x86 folder so i assumed it supported it.

Should have checked https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-virtual-apps-desktops/1912-ltsr/system-requirements.html instead

time to start looking at something like an AppCure to start getting those apps out of the OS
