Migrate MCS Full Clone to new Xenserver-pool

We need to migrate a large number of Full-Clone MCS-provisioned vm's to a new Xenserver-pool. 
The vm's  are removed from studio, but when we try to migrate it gets blocked by the following operation "vm_created_by_xendesktop".
After this the option to migrate dissapears completly. 

 

I was under the impression that it is possible to migrate machines that are provisioned as Full-Clones or am I missing something?

You will probably need to do a v2v on the images, as the tagging and creation process locks them as MCS created machines.

can't you just remove the tag?
