Audio Input on a Mac Mini

I am using Citrix to connect to a remote session for work and my BYOD is a Mac Mini.  I can feed audio output to various speakers (Jabra headset, Bloomberg keyboard and Mac Mini speakers).  But the audio input does not work, no one can hear me speak (a plus for them perhaps).  In Skype meetings on my Citrix powered remote desktop I can hear everyone speaking, but they can not hear me, bcs the audio does not pass through.   Is this a fixable issue?  Perhaps some hidden/uncommon setting in the Mac or the Citrix / Citrix HDX software?

What applications don't get audio?  Does the sound control panel app detect any audio?

 

With how offloading works, some audio is utilize locally, while other is tunneled into the session.  Testing from the sound control panel will give more detail on the issues.
