Workplace shows a black box around cursor

I just upgraded to Workspace 22.12.0.12 on Linux, connecting to a Windows Desktop VDI.  On that windows i use a vncviewer to connect to other machines, when in vnc viewer, the mouse cursor gets a black box around it.  This didn't happen with the previous version i was using.

 

Any fixes?

 

22.12 claims to have fixed this issue, but i didn't have an issue until this version... ???

Reverting to Workspace Version 22.11.0.19 fixes the issue.

Looks like 22.12 added a regression issue.
