Workspace App (iOS): Using Mouse and Pointer not possible with external keyboard on iPad

Question

Our users can no longer enable the mouse and pointer in the Citrix Workspace app (iOS) when an external keyboard is connected to the iPad.

If no external keyboard is connected, the features can be enabled and used.

 

Right-click cannot be used via the trackpad of the external keyboard.

 

This was noticed on an iPad Air 4th Gen with the keyboard Folio Touch from Logitech, iPadOS 15.6.1 or 15.7 and the Citrix Workspace App 22.9.5.

The same behavior could be observed on an iPad Air 3rd Gen with an external keyboard connected.

 

Since the user has had the problem for some time, older iOS or Citrix Workspace App versions are probably also affected.

 

Is this a bug or is the behavior "works as designed"?

 

Can the setting possibly be changed so that the internal functions can be used with the keyboard connected?
