App Layering MSIX Applications - Caching similar to AppV

I wanted to see if it was possible or any options to Cache MSIX packages in an App Layer. When messing with this it looks like the only place that MSIX would be cached between the different types of layers is in the OS Layer. I really don't like the idea that the OS Layer would cache the MSIX application. I know in the past there was an option to Cache AppV packages in the App Layer so was hoping for something similar.

 

I have a couple applications that are only provided via MSIX and utilize Non-persistent VDI with App Layering.

I havent tried msix yet but I would think you could do it as long as you put them all in the same app layer.  Can you point to an msix on a local disk?

Installing the agent wont affect your on prem images. You need the platform layer to be hbuilt in azure and you cant get to the packaging machine without the agent installed.
