App Layering with Citrix Cloud in Azure

At one point App Layering was integrated into Citrix Cloud but later removed. App Layering is still included with Citrix DaaS in the features. My environment is running on Azure through Citrix Cloud. I am following the documentation on setting up App Layering in Azure. I cannot find any documentation on setting up App Layering with Citrix Cloud. I am assuming whatever format the App Layering template generates is able to be used to setup a Machine Catalog in Citrix Cloud and uses MCS to deploy multiple copies of the VM? Is there any documentation or 3rd party walk though on App Layering in Citrix Cloud after the removal of the service?

App Layering integrates using mcs or pvs. When you create a catalog you will be able to choose the disk of the published image created with app layering.  
 

When we had a cloud tile all it was, was a secure browser to open the onprem appliance.
