Kernel Heap Mode Corruption

Anthony Bennett

Question

When attempting to create a vdisk from a physical All-In-One Dell OptiPlex, after going through the imaging wizard, on the restart the computer is throwing a Kernel Heap Mode Corruption blue screen. Anyone ever seen this occur or have an idea of what may be kicking this blue screen error?

Everything I have read suggest a driver issue but newer and older drivers seem to have no affect. We have specifically looked at the graphics and Nic drivers.

We are using 7.15 LTSR CU8 on the client. Tried this with Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Looks like the bnistack6 driver in 7.15 LTSR CU8 is the culprit.

We've been having this exact same issue with the same type of computer.  It also seems that bnistack6 is causing the issue as well.  Have you found any resolution to this issue?
