Serious issue, VM's down: The server has no attached PBD's

We have a VenCenter installation in a secure network. We lost power (machines are not on a UPS, don't ask why)  and now the Xen server has trouble connecting with a CentOS 

NFS server. I know absolutely nothing about XenCenter so bear with me. In Xencenter it shows a red circle with a slash. I tried to do a repair but it would not "plug" any servers. I also got a message "Server could not be contacted". Although I know I can ping this server.

 

Any thoughts?

Was the CentOS NFS server also affected by the power outage? Has it actually restarted the NFS service after coming back up or does it have an error on it?

Yes, can other NFS clients mount the NFS Server ? If memory serves me a client with appropriate permission should be able to mount the NFS share

and see the SR UUID.

I got the Windows server that runs XenCenter to mount the NFS share (actually this is an RDP jump box). I can drill through and see the VHD's. I was hoping there is a way to get this VHD to local server storage then I would be golden. Better idea is to get XenCenter to see NFS again, can't find much in the way of logging to tell me what's going on and

that's my frustration.

There were/are some DNS issues and I am trying to get that sorted. I added the domain network suffix to the Xen DNS settings of the NIC . I did a "forget" for the original NFS share that 

housed the VM's. I recreated the SR EXACTLY as it was. I can get all servers to plug the resource.  I try to start the VM and it tries to start but says in the VM's console it can't find the disk and then powers down. Again, can't find much in the way of errors, even in the Xencenter even log under %AppDAta%. So I am running out of options. I do not have command line access, I need to get that username and password from someone else.

Hopefully a host restart would get that all sorted out.

Of the XenCenter server? I think I did that but not sure when in the troubleshooting process.
