Citrix Store Account is not enabled in Workspace App after adding Storefront to Delivery Group in Citrix Studio 1912 LTSR CU4


Question

We have recently installed Citrix VA&D 1912 LTSR CU4 and have set up a new site and a delivery group for desktops and a delivery group for Applications within Citrix Studio.

We have added a Storefront server in the Studio console and set it to be automatically added to the desktop delivery group, however when we log onto the virtual desktop, the Storefront account is not enabled and we get no applications available in the workspace app. Within workspace app, if we select Accounts, it shows the Storefront server we added in Citrix Studio, but the Enabled box is not ticked(checked).

Within the desktop event log we are seeing an event with ID 1, and source SelfServicePlugIn in the Application Log which has the following info in the details:

 

'The store 'Storefront Server from Studio' specified at install-time was added (id=storefront-8d50f021 url=https://<url of storefront server>/Citrix/<store>/discovery enabled="False" description=Storefront Server from Studio)

 

I can't see why this store is not showing as enabled within the workspace app. Please can anyone advise why this may not be enabled in the workspace app?

After further investigation it appears that the Storefront URL in Studio is case-sensitive. The Receiver logs were showing the Store was added by GPFX, however as the URL was in lowercase and the Store in Storefront was CamelCase, the store account was added disabled.

After correcting the case, the store was added by the workspace app and enabled. Success.
