Best way to migrate VMs from XS5.6SP2 to XS7.4

Hi,

 

I am a newbie on Citrix and I have a server an employee build us in the past running Citrix Xenserver 5.6 SP2. This employee has left my company. The server become to be aged and I would like to replace with a more recent. I have installed a XenServer 7.4 on this new server. I can install a more recent one, it is empty at this time.

 

All the VMs on the old server are on a iSCSI volume.

 

There is a simple way to use on the new server the VMs on the iSCSI volume ? (of course, the old server will be off)

5.6 is ancient, so there is no way to do a live migration from that version. You will have to make sure your new server

uses a separate iSCSI LUN and export/import your VM's. You then will need to upgrade your VMTools once your VM's

are on the new installation.

Not only is XS56 ancient, XS7.4 is long out of support as well.
