Finally got an answer to this..

Seems like you can solve it like this:

 

Launch a desktop session (or published RDP application).
Open the Remote Desktop Connection in Windows.
Pull down the Show Options menu at the bottom left corner of the RDC UI.
Choose the Local Resource tab.
Under Keyboard section, check the On this computer in the Apply Windows key combinations drop down menu.
When you are done, RDP to your remote desktop.

 

You can ofcourse make these cahnges to a RDP file and use that.
