procedure for open the port TCP 3389 in Citrix Hypervisor 8.2.0

Please share the procedure for open the port  TCP   3389  in Citrix Hypervisor 8.2.0

 

I  have  add below command  in iptables but it is not working 

-A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT -m conntrack --ctstate NEW -m tcp -p tcp --dport 3389 -j ACCEPT

You should do this for a VM if needed, not on the dom0 server, itself.

Yea, I'm not sure how the firewall works on the 8.x version.  But I do wonder what would be the purpose of doing this ?

3389 is typically for RDP and you can't RDP to a Citrix Hypervisor.

As Tobias says, to enable access to the RDP port on a VM you do not need to modify the firewall rules on the Hypervisor itself. The VMs are on a separate "guest" network and the only firewalls present are those implemented within the VM operating systems themselves guessing Windows here as you want RDP access).
