Citrix MCS use existing Azure Shared Image Gallery

Is there a possibility that i could use a Existing SIG with Citrix MCS ? Now everytime i create a new Maschine Catalog the System let me use a new Empty Resource Group and creates a new Shared Image Gallery in Azure.

It would be beter i could reuse an existing Shared Image Gallery instead. But i cannot choose an exiting during setup. It wil create a new SIG each time i create a new Mashine Catalog.

Currently no. You can pull an image from an existing sig but Citrix will always create and manage its own sig per catalog. This will change in the future

Ok, thanx for the answer. Would be a nice feature to have just one SIG for all the Maschine Catalogs.

Looks like now we have an option to choose existing image version while creating new catalog. I just tried and was good to go.

I also referred https://jkindon.com/citrix-mcs-and-azure-shared-image-gallery/ which looks 2 year old but good to start with and keep checking on updates.

yup, that's always been there, it pulls it from the source sig and puts it into its own ?

It there anyway to control the naming convention of the SIG that citrix machine catalog provisioning creates?  example of the gallery name Citrix automatically creates "Gallery_test_G_nsyzx" we would like to use a standard naming convention for these objects...  We are not offered an opportunity to use an existing Azure gallery or control what the name of the gallery that Citrix provisioning created during this process.
