Virtual Apps Drag & Drop not working

I've updated my 1912 virtual apps site to 2103 including vda multi-user 2103 (1912 before). 

Users are complaining now that clipboard stops working within the same session between applications (shared session on same vda server) since vda 2103 is active. VDA 2106 is also not working, but 1912 does. Sometimes it's working again and in the next moment it doesn't anymore.

I suspect the new feature is the cause because it looks like it no longer works with the VDA versions that support this feature.

Set the setting Drag & Drop in Citrix policy extension to disabled (disable new d&d feature) and the clipboard is working 100%. 

But this new feature is the reason we've updated our site... :-(

I am working with a customer experiencing a very similar issue - client clipboard mapping is failing.  Thanks for the possible workaround. We're on Server 2016, VDA 2106. Most users are on Workspace App for Windows 1907. Have tried updating them to 2107 but the issue persists.

Further testing in my case has shown that wfshell.exe crashes *only* when pasting into Excel and when content is sourced from the client clipboard. Apparently this is a known bug with anticipated resolution in 2109. If you want, you can cross reference to my case# 80666106.

Oh, and disabling drag-and-drop didn't help in my case.

I ended up going back to VDA 1912 in order to resolve the issue.

Interesting to hear it's possible to get a resolution with VDA 2109.

We use Citrix Workspace App 2105.

Updated my two other sites to Virtual Apps 2103 with VDA 2103. Users complain about drag & drop stuck within applications in citrix or drag & drop doesn't work at all. 

3 different sites in 3 independent domains with the same issue. There's something wrong with the new drag & drop between local and Citrix session feature...

With the new feature drag & drop there are some other strange behaviors. We use application Xphone. You cannot drag the window from one screen to the other. After a few movements, the window cannot be pulled any further. Disable the feature and it's working again.

Tested with Workspace App 2107. Also not working. Made a field test with vda 2109 with some customers. While the new drag & drop feature is enabled every now and then copy paste in the same session stops working. Not usable. Very sad.
