Citrix Hypervisor 8.2 - Error installing Citrix VM Tools on Windows Server 2008 R2

Good day, we have two Windows Server 2008 R2 VM's that were running fine on a XenServer 7.6 with the VM tools installed correctly.

 

I exported them to XVA, and then imported them on a new Hypervisor 8.2. Import succeeded and all running well, however, Windows guest tools are not installed. When trying to run the installer, it gives a strange error:  "!loc.WindowsRequired"  (see image below).

 

 

Would appreciate any advice or assistance to get the guest tools installed for Hypervisor 8.2.

Seems I saw something weird like that when I didn't have .NET installed. Also, 

2008 is likely not supported anymore.

I'd suggest to go with whatever version of xentools were installed on that guest while residing on XS 7.6.

 

Latest ones most likely won't like W2008R2, as Alan pointed out.

Hello, do you know where to download these drivers? Because we have 3 WS2008R2 on Citrix Hypervisor 8.2 and network card speed is only 100 Mbps and we need 1Gbps, because on these VM is our internal system. Thanks.
