I would like to make a start and add My Citrix ADC as instance. I only have ADC in production and want to know what the risk to add you ADC in to you Citrix ADM as instance? just to dubble check. thx
Diego Oliveira
No risk . You'll gain more visibility of the traffic with the graphics of Citrix ADM.
CarlStalhood
Adding the instance causes ADM to configure the ADC to send SNMP traps to the ADM appliance. ADM will also periodically poll metrics from the ADC appliance.

This could lead to overload and dropped connections. I have seen this in big deployments. So I tend to use logstream instead. Logstream is cheaper in terms of CPU and number of packets. Merry Christmas and a happy new year Johannes Norz
