Dominic Masse Posted December 14, 2020 Share Posted December 14, 2020 Hi, we have a host with Xenserver 8.0, with Centos 8 VM on the Centos 8 VM, the kernel have been upgraded, after that in the /var/log/message we get at each minute the following error: "xe-daemon[1119]: CollectOS error: &os.PathError{Op:"open", Path:"/var/cache/xe-linux-distribution", Err:0x2}" I tried to update the tools but doesn't work, or perhaps I don't have the correct procedure? Is this a knowed issues? what can we do to addresses this issue? thank you Link to comment

I have recreated it with version info in it, and this seems to resolve the issues, but when I reboot the file is not there anymore... Link to comment
