List of apps that can be and cannot be elastically layered

Do we have a list of Apps that can or cannot be Elastically  layered?

We do not have a comprehensive list. maybe others can note what has not worked for them. What we do know is, Office and Visual Studio should not be. As for other specific applications, we have guidance in the below page, in the section, Elastic Layering Limitations

In essence anything that has a driver, component which must be present during the boot up, cannot be elastically assigned. Also, you can check a layer by running the Elastic Fit test,, also in the above page.  Bear in mind, even when an application layer passes the test, there could be an issue, but we will do our best to work with you towards a solution.
