View client connections to VS and Service Group member connections

Dear Community,

I am trying to figure out a way where I can view not only the current TCP connections to a particular Virtual Server, but also see which backend Service Group (Pool) member/server that client was load balanced to. I have used the TCP/IP connections options under System > Network which is pretty helpful but I have not yet been able to find a command via CLI or in the GUI that shows me the connections behind the virtual server. For instance, if I wanted to know what SG member client 192.168.1.100 was Load Balanced to, how would I view that information in the ADC? If this can be done in CLI, could you please provide a complete example of the command?

Thank you!

Hi Diego,

I did find that article, and although helpful, I do not believe it shows what back end server in the Service Group the client was load balanced to. It definitely shows the clients that are connected to the actual Virtual Server, but not what server in the Service Group they were load balanced to. Does that make sense?

Thank you.

NSWL netscaler web server logging usually shows this; but you have to setup the nswl component.  This is your web transaction log which isn't actually logged on ADC.

Config info is here:  https://discussions.citrix.com/topic/410716-unable-to-collect-citrix-netscaler-and-adc-http-logs-via-syslog-and-nswl/

and in admin guide here:  https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-adc/current-release/system/web-server-logging/installing-citrix-adc-web-logging-client.html#:~:text=The version of the NSWL,on 64 bit server machines.

for load balancing with persistence, show persistencesessions will show the persistence table and lb decisions (for non-cookieinsert persistence); which can do some of this.
