I am trying to justify a Citrix upgrade to an out of support environment on the basis that it is no longer secure, however the more recent security notifications don't seem to apply to the unsupported version I am running (6.5). I am of the opinion this is likely due to the fact that unsupported versions are no longer assessed or included in the advisory rather than the fact the security flaw is not present in the older versions, but I need to confirm this.
Can someone please advise, are new security flaws in current citrix versions also advised for older versions if they are relevant, or do the unsupported versions no longer get security advisories?
