Xenserver Management Network Parameters

for some reason I came in today and under the configuration in Xen Server everything is blank.  Status Display is Unknown.  i cant ping the IP address and it wont connect to xencenter.  i tried a emergency network reset and it still the issue persist.

Is this a standalone server or a pool?

what version of Hypervisor are you using?

its part of a pool.  the pool master is working ok.  version 8.2. The entire pool are Dell M620's.  out of 8 the pool master and server number 3 are working correctly.  the other 6 lost their config for some reason.

What happened after the emergency network reset? If you were using a bond, you gave it just one IP address of the primary management interface, correct?

 

If you cannot ping the host, maybe the NIC is dead, though not too likely on all 6 of those hosts! Is there a connection status indicator on the network switch?

 

Was NTP properly configured on all hosts and within reasonable tolerances?

Sounds like maybe a network config issue if you have bonded management interfaces. Go back to single interfaces with a network reset and 

you should be able to reach them again.
