Citrix Hypervisor 8.1 filesystem Logs getting full often

Hi,

I have installed Citrix Hypervisor 8.1 and the filesystem logs gets full often.

Can someone assist me with any cron job to clear the logs. Or is there any way to compress the logs in the file system for Citrix hypervsior 8.1

Hello,

 

You should take a look on why the Hypervisor is generating that much logs instead of just deleting them.

 

If you have followed the recommended settings and requirements for your filesystem this should not happend.

Also, did you upgrade to the new partition layout system, which is much better suited for dealing with larger log files? As mentioned above, if a lot of logs are getting generated, making more space for logs is just a way of ignoring s opposed to addressing the issue. Under normal circumstances, the logs should never get that full.
