There is no master image associated with the machine catalog

Hello Team,

I'am working on a home lab :

-Domain controller

-Citrix DDC 7.5 + StoreFront + Licence Server

-HyperV standalone Node windows 2016 standard

-SCVMM server

I'am trying to create a catalogue based on a the Master image snapshot hosted on the standalone node, the machine catalogue progress is stuck in the middle of the operation 

 

On SCVMM i can see that the VDA is created and running :

 

 

But when i check on the console, it still has the name of the MasterImage 

 

 

On activeDirectory, the VDA object is not created.

 

And then the catalogue Fail with the error "There is no master image associated with the machine catalog"

It seems like somehow Citrix cannot complet the remaining preparation tasks to complete the operation (complete the creationg of the VDA + AD registraiton)

 

Any Help please ?

is the master image joined to your domain? 

If not, join it, then retry the operation. Also, i assume that you're using DHCP for the gold image and subsequent deployed catalog images?

Thanks to both of you for your feedback,

@Diego, the snapshot is healthy and well created, but the hyperV node is not fully patched, i will try to patch it and give it a try.

@Ken, Yes the Master Image is joined to the domain, i'am using a DHCP for the VDAs but not for the GI, i put a static IP on it, is it not recommanded to so?

all the VDA machines including the gold image must have a DHCP address. no static addresses.
