PVS 1912 goes in grace period with valid license server and file

Hi all,

 

i've just update a pvs farm of two server (ws2012r2) to v1912, and as soon as the streaming service start both server start to logging:

1) Source: StreamProcess, EventID: 102, Description: No suitable licenses are present on Citrix license server [...etc]
2) Source: StreamProcess, EventID: 106, Description: Currently in grace period [...etc].

 

I've double checked license server and it's operating normally (our CVAD farm does not have any license error or warning), and it was correctly update to v11.16.3.0 build 29000; also license file have an SA date of 2020.1231 (i've redownloaded from citrix.com)

does anyone else has the same beahvior on pvs 1912?

This has been a common issue, a change to the license file caused the problem, the license file has been corrected so if you download a new and load it in the license server it should correct the issue.

I have the same issue. Even with a re-downloaded License file. It not seems to enter a newer sa date in to the licfile for PVS.

make sure you have restarted the license server and the PVS server. Check to make sure the license files has PVSD_ and PVS_ licenses in it.    Also are the targets licensed, they will enter a grace period separate from the PVS server.

Hi all,

 

only redowload of license file does not work; i've had to return the license and reallocate again, download the newly generated license file and now the pvs stream service is out of grace period and not reporting any warning on license.
