Open with Adobe Reader & save back in Citrix Files

Hello everybody,

we have the following problem. We want to open a PDF file from Citrix Files with Adobe Reader, edit it there and then save it back in Citrix Files. For this we have in the XenMobile user interface when configuring the Citrix-Files app (MDX) the app ID from the Adobe reader (com.adobe.Adobe-Reader) in the "Exception list for restricted opening" and in the "Positive list for incoming exchange Documents "added. If we now open the file from Citrix Files in Adobe Reader, it works; back from Adobe Reader in Citrix Files, it does not work. With the following error message on an iPad "Restricted by administrative policy: Exchange of incoming documents is blocked on this app". Does anyone have a solution for this?

Sounds like the app ID might not be correct. Does it work if you disable any restrictions?

Hey Koenraad,

 

sorry for my late reply.
In the attachment you can see two screenshots. On the first, the exact app ID from Adobe Reader and on the second, the settings we have set. "Eingeschränkt" means restricted. If we set the setting to Unrestricted then it works. For us there is only the option to work with the option restricted.
