Yongho Kim
Hello, I have a Xenserver with 8TB SR. I want to store my desktop's file to Xenserver SR. Is it possible? and how can I do that?? I want to send xva(vm export file) to SR, and import xva with xe vm-import command. (Is it possible~?) Please help. Link to comment
0 Alan Lantz
I think its possible, but not advisable. Exporting a VM to the same system will still result in loss of data in the case of a failure. --Alan-- Link to comment

0 Alan Lantz
Exporting/Importing VM's is usually a pretty slow process. The best way to save data is by creating a VM and exporting to a share. --Alan Link to comment

0 Alan Lantz
A SR is really for VDI storage, not file storage. Yes, I was referring to creating a VM and creating a share that you could save files too. --Alan-- Link to comment
