our app crash iOS 13 only mdx

Hello. We have our corporate mobile apps for IOS (ipad). Applications are developed on Xamarin. One of our applications is used to display documents (pdf and doc) that are published on webdav.

And this application crashes when accessing WebDav. The fall appears only on iOS 13 and only after wrapping in MDX.

+ There is a problem that we don’t understand yet: in the citrix environment, when an exception occurs in our applications, our applications crash and do not even enter the catch block.

We have an application developed on Xamarin Forms and it breaks when wrapped.  Citrix confirmed that there is a compatibility issue with the wrapping process and Xamarin Forms (and Xamarin) and will not be supported.  They specifically called this out in their announcement in October about getting rid of the wrapping process.

but there are deadlines like September of 2020, what should we do until September?

September is when they are deprecating the cloud MDX service.  I haven't seen a release dates for the new SDKs but my assumption is that they will be available long before then.

 

Unfortunately, until the release of the new SDKs, Xamarin isn't supported.
