csh/tsch cannot load with gnome desktop, switch to bash shell aways

Dear,

We have environment like this

 

-          Citrix VDA version: 19.6.0.5, installed on OS CentOS 7.6.1810 version

-          Join sc.esilicon.com for authentication

-          User by NIS server and set logon shell default  as csh/tcsh shell

o   [ncduong@ase-gipcxvda09 ~]$ ypwhich

ase-gip-adm01.sc.esilicon.com

o   [root@ase-gipcxvda07 bin]# ypcat passwd | grep ncduong

ncduong:x:2134:2134::/users/ncduong:/bin/tcsh

-          ISSUE is  , after logon DESKTOP Gnome, open terminal the shell load is bash as this

 

[ncduong@ase-gipcxvda09 ~]$ echo $SHELL
/bin/bash
[ncduong@ase-gipcxvda09 ~]$ ypwhich
ase-gip-adm01.sc.esilicon.com
 

 

Any helps is highly appreciated

We can reproduce the same issue in lab, will fix this issue soon.

Facing the same issue since I've used Linux VDA version: 21.09.0.14 working on CentOS 7.9. It's been almost two years since last post, I wonder if this bug has had been fixed.

Please give update on this.

This issue is still there on RHEL, I will fix this issue, hopefully it will be in our next release.
