Linux VDA Power management command line

Hi All,

 

Is there a way we can power manage Linux VDAs using powershell using new-brokerhostingpoweraction cmd. For now Linux VDAs are not power managed if initaited using the cmd line.

 

If we check the Power Action status by running the cmd get-brokerhostingpoweraction there were no failure message, it appears that Action completed, but the Linux VDAs is not rebooted or powered off and Powered On.

 

Please help if you its a known behavior or is there any workaround or a fix available

It works in my lab, please make sure your machine is configured as power managed when you create the machine catalog.

@mbalajitry, did you find a solution to this? I'm seeing the same issue with a RHEL 7.5 Workstation using VDA 1811. The VDA's never actually reboot. The machine catalog and delivery group are setup correctly.
