I have been searching this forum to try to find the step-by-step process to enable PMU/VPMU data on a XenServer system.
I have tried
-Adding "vpmu=1" to the /boot/grub/grub.conf file
-Attempted to change the value of /sys/hypervisor/pmu/pmu_mode from 'self' to 'all,' but the system will not allow me to do so due to permissions issues (even as root)

Hello,
I have been searching this forum to try to find the step-by-step process to enable PMU/VPMU data on a XenServer system.
I have tried
-Adding "vpmu=1" to the /boot/grub/grub.conf file
-Attempted to change the value of /sys/hypervisor/pmu/pmu_mode from 'self' to 'all,' but the system will not allow me to do so due to permissions issues (even as root)
I feel like I must be missing something...
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
